A short form, with the moving date and notes optional. It reaches the same people as the phone and email, and it is the quickest way to arrange a survey.
Weekdays & Saturday mornings
The office is staffed through the working day Monday to Friday and on Saturday mornings. Moves themselves can run outside those hours when a job needs it.

Our address is on the Folkestone side of the Channel Tunnel terminal, at the end of the M20, which is why the county's crossing points are part of our everyday routes. Please arrange a visit in advance rather than calling in; crews are usually out on jobs.
What should you send first?
Nothing needs to be settled yet. These five details turn a cautious first reply into a useful one, and they take a couple of lines each.
- Where from, and where to
- Both addresses, including the destination if it lies outside Kent or outside the UK. In this county the village name often tells us more than the postcode does.
- How the vehicle gets close
- Which floor, stairs or lift, and whether a full-size removals vehicle can reach the door. In the Weald and the old town centres that single detail can reshape the whole plan.
- A rough idea of volume
- A description is plenty: a three-bedroom semi, a cottage with a boarded loft, a single bedroom of furniture. Nobody needs an inventory at this stage.
- Dates, firm or otherwise
- If your completion could move, say so now. It alters how we plan the move, and it costs far less to plan for early than to fix on the morning.
- The difficult items
- A piano, a longcase clock, a marble-topped table, a reclaimed fireplace surround, or a lane no lorry could turn in. Warnings cost less than surprises.
