Family moves

Removals to EuropeWhich removal service do you need?
If everything you own is moving, it is a house removal, however small the home. A single room, a studio or a few large pieces suit man and van. Once the destination is beyond Kent and the counties next to it, the job becomes a long-distance removal: the care is the same, the planning around driving limits is not. Families whose dates hang on a school place will find the detail on family removals.
Packing and storage can be added to any of them. Packing protects what travels; storage covers the gap when two completion dates refuse to meet. Neither is an extra for its own sake, and the survey is where we work out whether you need them.
What do we not do?
House clearance
Getting rid of unwanted goods needs a waste carrier licence, which we do not hold. We move and we store; we do not dispose.
Pianos, safes and fine art
Anything needing more than ordinary crating belongs with a specialist. We will suggest you use one rather than experiment with something irreplaceable.
Moves inside a single town with its own firm
A few Kent towns have dedicated local removals firms, listed on our coverage page. If both ends of your move are inside one of them, they are the better call.
London-to-London moves
Red routes, parking suspensions and timed loading bays are a specialism of their own. We deliver Kent loads into London; a move within London wants a London firm.
Both addresses and a rough date are enough to begin.
From there we arrange a free survey, at the house or by video, and send a written quote that sets out the scope. Uncertain dates are fine; say they are uncertain.
